Alex graduated with her BS in Counseling from Grace College in 2012 and her Master’s in Counseling from Ball State University in 2014. Alex is passionate about using a collaborative approach and coming alongside those who are seeking help with life’s challenges. Alex has several years of experience working with a variety of mental health concerns (depression, anxiety, social challenges, ADHD, trauma, family issues, relational issues, mood disorders, psychosis, eating disorders, and more). She has extensive training in TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), but focuses on utilizing a wide variety of therapeutic approaches to best meet the needs of her clients. Alex can work with clients from 5 years old up but particularly enjoys connecting with women of all ages as they seek growth and healing for their mind, heart, body, and soul.
Alex is a mom of two boys and the wife of a busy farmer/independent business owner. When she isn’t busy with family, she loves baking, reading, spending time outdoors, enjoying a glass of wine or coffee with friends, and watching binge-worthy historical dramas (and she admits to even enjoying a reality TV show or two here and there).
