Kellie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies from Samford University, and her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a certification in Addictions Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University. Kellie is a Marriage and Family Therapy Associate Counselor working towards her License in Marriage and Family Therapy. Her passion is to walk alongside individuals, couples, and families who need support in the places they may be stuck, hopeless, and experiencing disconnection. She utilizes an emotionally focused, attachment, cognitive behavioral, and experiential therapy perspective to promote personal growth, genuine healing and the capacity to connect in relationships. Kellie also enjoys her work as a home-based therapist for families taking steps towards reunification with their children in foster care and facing challenges related to complex trauma, substance use, chronic homelessness, financial crisis and domestic violence.
When she is not counseling, she is watching a good movie with her husband, outside walking in nature, laughing and praying with friends, and enjoying motherhood.
